 At the Centre, you can attend a live geology class on the volcanoes of the Azores and the world, and end your visit with a climb up the old lighthouse. There, we lose ourselves in the beauty of the immensity of the sea and the contrast with the landscape of the Capelinhos volcano, a Natural Monument of the Faial Natural Park and a geosite of international importance in the Azores Global Geopark of UNESCO.
